Hey guys,
I have been on the look out, for a Nakamichi CD500 headunit for my MX5. I cant for the life of me find one that is for sale. I think Nakamichi stopped making them, but i heard that they are quite easy to get your hands on new.

I am a bit of an avid audiophile, and not really interetsed in flashing lights, and pretty colours. I love the Nakamichi's as they look stock, and provide amazing sound.
If anyone could point me in the right direction, as how to get my hands on a CD500 it would be very appreciated.
Cheers
Ryan
Where can I get a Nakamichi CD500 headunit???

One has turned up on fleabayhttp://cgi.ebay.com.au/NAKAMICHI-CD-500-RECEIVER-CD-MP3-24BIT-NEW-IN-BOX_W0QQitemZ140145447398QQihZ004QQcategoryZ85808QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Much cheaper than local prices but no post purchase support per se.
I have been very happy with my Nak..looks stock, illumination a close match and sounds great. One issue is that with MP3's it can take up to 10-20 seconds to start a track, not always mind you but often enough to notice. However if you after SQ you may not use MP3's anyway Oh and it only reads MP3 tags not aac or wav etc.
