I have an OBX Forza seat in my SP - almost too easy to bolt in on the drivers side - had to drill two new holes in seat bracket to fit. The Forza is a wide Daytona. Quality is average, and expect heavy wear and tear on the right side when you get in and out with the top up - mine was looking shoddy after just 4 weeks use. Comfort is good and driving position is excellent, plus they are ADR approved and cheap ($279 delivered from Vic, bought on ebay new). I am looking at replacing mine with something better soon, looking at Sabelt Titans or maybe a Cobra seat, but I'm going to put a pair in this time. Best looking seat I've seen was the Sparco Rev, they had one with a shallow side bolster that would make getting in and out easier, but sadly not for big bums like me...

they do look great installed.. thanks for your comments on them

and the OBX ones are very cheap!.. do you think im best off going to

DAYTONA's?
or
FORZA's

im thinking that the forza's might be a bit wide for the NA.. is the cab of an NB different to NA?

Kind Regards

The NB door trims are moulded and therefore thicker so you should have more room in your NA.

oooh ok..

well i just did some research..

the Forza's are 55cm wide (the widest part at the top)
and the daytona's are 51cm's wide.. so either way they are both going to fit :)

if you are comfortable in a Sparco sprint you would want the Daytona (sprint is a much better made seat than the Daytona, but more expensive). If you have a larger rear end (say more than 1.5 axe handles across ) you'll want the Forza. NA has more room than NB. Mine will only go forward on the sliders about 100mm as it hits the console and tunnel, but you could offset the seat slightly to avoid this.

Ajay, you should also take a trip to Just Jap at Kirrawee and look at the JJR fixed seats - they are cheaper still and look to be just as good in the photos. $150 a seat is not to be ignored.... :D

Ajay I think JJR seats might just come from the same place as OBX - they look identical without the logo (which looks tacky anyway) and the price is hard to go past :D See if they have a wider version (Forza size) for me if you go down to look... they would make good replacements for what I have now, and I could then get my current seat re-upholstered in better fabric etc...

what ever happens Don't get sparco sprints if you love food!

I have put on about 25 kg's since I put my sparco's in (many many moons ago!)
And now that i drive it rarely, its a mission to get into and out of!
