Front mud flaps

Postby Penguin » Sat Jul 28, 2007 9:01 pm

Hi

I have a NC. Recent roadworks has meant lots of stone chips on the sills. The sills really rap around the bottom of the car. Bummer. Just one of the joys of living in the country !!

What are the front mud flaps like? Is there any other sill protction ssytem that people have used?

Info here on clear plastic protection. The front mudflaps are pretty expensive at $229.

I have the film on the front of the BMW 318ti - seems to work there. Had a look on the net and the mud guards look more decorative than functional. anybody had experience iwth the skirts? See http://www.ptp-ltd.co.uk/shop/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=678

Not sure about NC front mudflaps but I have them on my NB and they dont work that well. I got them to protect the bulges in front of the rear wheels and the sills but both areas are pretty badly stone damaged after a fair bit of country driving.
