I'd be more inclined to go with one that has the rain rail as well if I were to ever order again.

Adam if your roof is ok otherwise apart from the slash maybe have an auto trimmer quote a repair/patch job/vinyl weld job. Wilshire Autotrimmers on South Rd have a good reputation (bit expensive though), they did the install of my Prestige top.

I have bought the mohair/glass window top.
My rain rail is fine. All repair quotes have been for now roofs and the prestige top is bought and imported for less than the repairers have quoted for a new top. My existing roof was on there from when i bought it, but was not an original. There was significant damage to numerous parts of the roof. Plus my back window leaked in heavy rain anyway (and i live in the hills). So I am happy to get a new roof.
I have to pay $900 excess on my insurance but my quotes came back at $2800 and $3100, so i'm not real worried. i look foward to the upgrade.

If i wanted to set up the demister and i bought all the necessary parts, is there a place i could take it to to get is set up? Could somebody help me here?

I quite like the auto sparkies at Warren Wilson Auto Electrics, 92 Daws Rd. They did my A/C & fixed a horn problem for me, quite happy.

Are you installing the top yourself though? dodgy at your place
