Postby green_comet » Thu Jul 26, 2007 12:29 pm

Hey all,

I know this is nothing special, but i just though i would post up a picture on my new shifter boot, and handbrake boot. They are black leather with white stitching, got them to go with the Momo Prototipo steering wheel that I am getting very soon. I think they look good with the Pearl Voodoo Magnum.. Hope you like. :D

Here is the link to the boots, on Mrgaiters website. They are from the UK and cost me about $52 all up including postage.

If your going to order them, make sure that in the comment section when you about to confirm, you say what MX5 you have(mk1 or mk2), and what colour leather and stitching you want.

Now you just need the Voodoo handbrake grip and wider fascia for the JVC :D

:D

I dont really like the voodoo handbrake grips, they are a bit too bulky for me. I like the standard one just fine.
As for the stereo, ill change the facia when i get my Nakamichi cd500 headunit..

It might look like an Italian exotic car gearshift, but it will be a whole lot slower than that standard un-gated shift of the MX5.

That's one reason most driving journalist, recommend the eGear (sequential auto) for Lamborghini as opposed to the manual.

Its more cause the electronic trickery is so intuitive nowadays isn't it? I don't think it was ever a fault with the shift...
But the one that Ben showed is very stubby...

PS Prototipo... nice choice...!

Now... back to scraping together the pennies for my Prototipo...

So I'm guessing it's cheaper buying them direct from the website rather than eBay, if it's only $52 inc shipping (it was inc shipping right?) rather than $58 + shipping.

Might spend some time on the weekend thinking about colours and buying them. Thanks for the link

Why buy these boots that are made from upholstery leather scraps which are hard and dry feeling, when you can get some Australian made boots which are made from butter-soft garment leather?
