thought this might be the best place for it but im installing my headunit

looking at this pic

the b+ is contant 12v?

i dont have a multimeter to test it with

what year do you have???

the wiring I used to do mine for my 2000 NB8A was found on this site

http://www.madracki.com/miata/wiring.html

open the System Wiring Diagram (it's a pdf) then search for stereo (use ctrl+f)

I didn't use the \"internal lights system\" wires though

hope this helps

constant 12V pos was blue+red for me

thanks for the reply its a na6 92 model, the pic i posted isnt exact but pretty much the same

all installed now though, just misplaced one of the screws that hold in the middle console

For those that are interested, I'm fairly sure this "internal lights system" wire is if your head unit has a dimmer. In the NB8A's, the dim control for the lights basically above the fuse box will dim/brighten your stereo if it's hooked up.

I had it connected in my first MX5, but don't think I did it in this one for some reason...
