What wiring diagrams? The CAS is definitely 4pin. IIRC it's 12v, two sensor ones (fuel and spark I suppose), and ground.

It's 4pin there.

There's a bit of confusion regarding terminology. Generally I refer to the one that goes on the end of the intake/exhaust camshaft (exhaust camshaft for the BP) as the cam angle sensor (CAS). This one has 4 wires.

I always call the one from the NB engines that sits down at the bottom near the crankshaft pulley the crank angle sensor. I don't know the wiring of those unfortunately.

So do you just need to know which is 12v, ground, spark and fuel?

You want this:

Ground (Black – Lt Green) -- Ground
Crank Angle Sensor (white) -- 2nd signal measures top dead centre
Cam Angle Sensor (Yellow-Blue) -- 1st Signal Cam Angle
12V Supply -- +12V (Can't remember colour)

Now with an Ohmmeter, you should have a constant short between the body of the CAS and ground.
The Cam Angle (+ve)signal should give you 4 pulses every revolution.
The Crank angle signal (-ve) gives you one pulse every revolution.
The leftover pin is +12V (usually the outside pin of the plug)

Hope this helps.
Huh?
