Thanks AJ.

I'll be following up with Richard to see what he's got available and what will fit - I reckon I'll come out of this with a bill less than $800 incuding beer and wingz.

And a newer motor, and the chance to do more polishing.

Can I throw you some contraband for your "old" rocker cover then

Andrew.

Are you around (in fairfield) this weekend???

Ryan is coming up and we're removing the existing motor - your compressor and air sockets would be a godsend.....

Jules

Yeah - I've got the bed flute :D

Jen's actually very understanding - she told me that despite the mishaps, she loves the fact I get in and give it a red hot go.

as for the'old' rocker cover - that will get transferred across, so you'll just have to drive up or I'll have to come down, and we'll remove and polish yours one weekend.....

I share your pain Uncle! There is little worse than inflicting damage through your own actions, especially when the victim is your MX5. I wish I was still up there to lend a hand, but I'll be thinking of you while I'm doing the water pump on the Falcon on Saturday :frown:

You know what! This could be the start of the "Great Rocker Cover Freecycle Program".

Once it's polished and on Malibu, then Malibu's can become the doner for the next Dodgy, and so on, an so forth as Farquad would say :D

We could bling the entire SEQ regions covers off 1 little mishap

Such a noble cause.
