Have you got any further info on this procedure? I'm wondering whether buying keys off eBay is a good investment if we can reprogram keys ourselves.
How many existing keys do you have?

I have a proceedure for reprogramming the factory NB8B remotes (ie door and boot unlocking), but not for coding keys (actually starting the car).

Let me know if this is what you need and I'll PM it. No tools needed, just a case of hitting pedals, turning the key and opening closing doors all in the correct sequence. And holding your tongue the right way 8)

Thanks Casey, & Guys. I am too old for all this electronic 5h1t. About 25yrs ago one of my mates achieved a more effective & less troublesome \"immobiliser\" by fitting a large hidden 'switch' operated by a metal 'T' piece that he could remove upon leaving the car.

And I had a friend who was (is) a very accomplished electronics engineer and he put in his own secret switches in his HSV and special circuitry that disable the cars main computer which he reckoned no-one could ever find, or work out how to use, except him.

One night, while the car was parked not more than 50 metres away, it got stolen! It was never found.

One of my friends used take out the main HT lead whenever he parked the car, only to find the car stolen one day.
They found the car a few days later, and the thieves took off one of the other HT leads and put it in as the main lead and drove it away with the engine missing a cylinder.

It's really hard to fool a clever thief.

Yeah, just my point. You just take your chances - if someone really wants it, its gone. That's what insurance is for.

Only just got the one. Since I bought the car privately, it's all it came with.

Not 100% sure if it is or isn't, but it's worth shooting it my way anyway. It never hurt to learn a bit more about the car.
