What model MX5 do you have RDM?
If it's an NC then you are nowhere near the maximum negative camber.
If it's an NB then you should still be able to get more than they said, especially if the castor is backed off a little.
Next, if you have a dead feel in the front there is no way that it is set ‘toe out’. With that much ‘toe out’ you would be diving all over the road.
As for the 888s you need over 2 degrees negative. You will find that the insides won't be getting any wear at all.
The camber set up they have given you is really just a slightly aggressive road set up.

NB SE. They said that that was the maximum the stock stuff would allow and didn't want to try for any more. I didn't think I'd get -2degrees with the standard suspension so -1.4 seems ok. Disappointed with the front setting though...
As for the R888 at these settings, my guess is I'll start with cold pressure of 34psi and work towards getting 38-40psi hot to try keep the outer edge from wearing out prematurely.
Still, I can't really complain about the OEM alignment settings either. I've had 2x 30k wear out of Conti SC2s and it was even across the entire width of the tyre for all 4 tyres (I rotate them religiously at 5k intervals)... I know I definitely won't get that on the current settings (and given I can't slip tyres from inside to outside, the insides will always wear out first.
I guess I could drive quicker than I currently drive to use the outside edge more!!!

I’d reconsider your pressures. They are way to high for a DOT tyre.
You shouldn’t get them more than about 31 – 32 hot.
Try starting at 27 cold and monitor your pressures closely. Chat with Daniel or David when you are out there and they will tell you what’s best.
Have a great time.

Don't have to try very hard to have a great time at the track... but thanks all the same
I ran them on the road at 44psi (for feel and less chance of getting a puncture) for about 1000km... but I gather wear is the big killer at these pressures?
I've tried running them at 30psi and I really didn't like the feel of them... but that was on the road, so maybe track is different. I'll try it out at 27psi first and see how it goes. Thanks.

Wheel alignment
Could someone please recommend wheel alignment specs for a NA running 205/50- 15s....with Kings & Konis, if that is relevant.
Just for road driving...rather spirited road driving that is.
