What's this hose called?

Postby Gazbo » Mon Jul 09, 2007 12:23 pm

The little black hose that goes between the cam cover and that chrome pipework at the front of engine has split.

Anyone know what this hose is called so I can find a replacment?

I believe it's called a breather hose. Just drive to clark rubber and find a suitable sized rubber hose and cut to length. :)

OR go to a wreckers or call MX5Mania and ask them to post one to you. :)

Instead of having all that pipe work cant you just replace it with a filter (as in the miniture pod filters)?

It's part of your pollution control - hence illegal to remove it and potentially defectable
