so about 90rwkw factory.. thats pretty good.
but what they weigh? anyone know the exact CC??

Hey Andrew,

Just realised that your NB has a better power to weight ratio than the NC.

Andrews NB 83.8kW / 1000kg = 0.0838

...............NC 91.6kW / 1106kg = 0.0828

Looks like I'm going on a diet.

suprised theres not more NC race cars they seem to do everything better than the NB and as CB has pointed out have less KW per tone!

if you have a worse power to wieght why are you leaving me so far behind on the straights?? car wieght is prolly closer to 1100kg wet.. but the NC would prolly be a bit heavier in realality too.. i dont trust the car companies info on wieght... so i might have a slightly better power to weight fancy a drag race ha

When I followed you at Wakefield in the damp, there was no difference down the straight.

In the dry the difference is that I'm braking later and getting out of the corners quicker and therefore carrying more speed down the straight.
Ask Turbo Girl about the NC closing under brakes on the silver Rooke beast.

It is, but if you have better brakes and handling you raise the bar a notch.

At our Heathcote drag day a 2 year old NC, @15.65 ran the same time as my NA8A (94rwkw).

Probably shows that the NC might be a little behind(if at all) in outright power but has a broader spread and more torque that makes up for it.

I reckon 15.65 is a good 1/4 time for stockcar,old,V8 \"performance \"cars didn't do that!!
