Red will go faster! :D

The washer bottle needs to be moved. The a/c bits don't (well, not much anyway). Here's a couple of pics to give you some idea of what goes where (green car is a 1.6, red is 1.8 - fitting is similar though):

The kit should have come with the CAI (cone filter and carbon fibre tube) and a mounting bracket. You'll probably need to find a small bolt for the washer bottle. From memory you shouldn't need to drill any holes other than the big one - all the bolts for the bracket, bottle, etc. should go in existing points.

Have fun - enjoy the noise. :D

I was surprised when mine ended up being red too.... very easy to spray black however... It will be worth the effort. I still love the sound of mine and it does not drone when your just putting along.

I think (hope) they're only talking about the air filter bit - and the suppliers simply couldn't get them in the more "normal" colours.

The intake tubes themselves are custom made for Mania and other than one short period of carbon fibre shortage (when we had them in yellow Kevlar) they've always been c/f grey.

AJ: Yep thats my car

KIJIMA: Dont worry, you at least still have a gearbox that works proberly

I was initially told that mania's CAI wouldnt fit in a turbo car, as there just wasnt the room to get the piping in without serious restrictions
