If it is I hope we go via the Putty Road. I haven't been there in a while and I'm getting withdrawal symptoms!

I am not aware of an update at this time.

I shall be out there at 10AM for a meet 'n' greet, but I shan't be able to stay for the run.

Did anyone get any details from Sean at the Coffee and Lies last weekend?

What a great day! The weather was a bit overcast with a drop of rain but that didn't deter us! It was great to meet some new members; the Newcastle Chapter is really starting to take off!

Anyway, nine MX-5s set of over Mt Sugarloaf, through the vineyards and along the Putty Road to have lunch at the Truck Stop.

Driving through the vineyards, a few decided we needed a pi(ss)t stop. We just happened to have pulled up outside Nightingale Wines so we decided to drop in and use their amenities. It didn't take long for the pissheads to start sampling the wines and buying a few bottles. Annette not only bought 6 bottles but joined their wine club!

When we finally got underway we headed to the Putty Road for the twisty bits that were made for the MX-5. 8)

Great photos Tom.

Pity I couldn't stay for the run.

I was quite impressed with the amount of people who turned up Sunday morning. Far too many red cars, but nothing I can do about that.

It was probably the biggest showing that I have seen for a Hunter Chapter run thus far, it was quite impressive. Hope that we get some business cards soon to drop under the windscreen wipers of MX5s that I keep seeing around town so that we can continue to build membership.

The slack-arse Sydney executive have been promising us those cards ever since our Chapter started a couple of years ago! It looks like we will have to do our own cards/flyers. Maybe we need to form a subcommittee at the next Coffee&Lies or at the next run. 8)
