Nice look...!
Never use the Single DIN cubby under the head unit eh?

The thing I like best is that it looks stock.
I hear too many stories about people having good head units stolen out of \"not even flash\" cars to even bother looking at nice-ish head units.
Not having a solid roof will not help... sad isn't it?

Luckily I'm not that into sound... if it plays the music i like... I like it...

well its kinda stock......I don't know if it was avail as a factory upgrade in 1989 but I've wanted one of these for very very long time.
Its got great sound. But then I'm not a sound connoisseur.

Mania had one they got out of an import...it looks awesome, even has moving needles to tell you how loud your stereo is :P

Thats what I've got...it really suits the MX5, though mine has a half inch gap underneath....I take it thats because ive got the older style trim?

So perhaps the double DIN we're dealing with here isn't the crazy factory Mazda one I wanna check out? Not that I want it since my deck is already all I need. Just more a curiosity thing.

Doesn't the \"crazy\" JDM one have a silver face? I dont think they were ever sold in Aus but I think the high spec US cars came with them possibly as an option?
