I sort of dissagree.

A disagrement between two people should be discussed with those two people involved.

The fact that "little mik" has gone off on boost cruising and slandered someone that he bought a vehicle off - well thats just a low act

Duj - was selling a car with a rotary in it when do you ever see one not having its neck rung!

Little mik it was not that long ago that you were slandering a workshop that helped you out because you thought they charged to much!
(This particular shop did a lot of work on my car and I didn't have a problem with what they charged)

Now all your "friends" on boost cruising can back you up yeah you got a sh*t deal etc but they don't know the full story only what you are writing!

Did they know about your whinge about XXXXXX ? and how you thought they were robbing you?

Every time you have had something go wrong with the car there has been someone else to blame.

What you bought was a car that had an extensive amount of work done to it, this will never be the end of it
things will always brake you will need to upgrade things etc

You probably should have a better mechanical knowledge etc so you could cover some or alot of your costs by doing your own labour but you might not be one of those people that likes getting dirty!

For what its worth I bought a 92 model toyota surf in november last year
it looked good etc and I was happy till i had it serviced,
The mechanic told me it was a lemon and useless, and that it would be lucky to go 10 thousand more k's!

Now my first reaction was that bastard who sold it to me! ok he might have known and sold it knowingly but I didn't get it checked out so I wasn't going to beat everyone up about it! for the record its still gong strong 50'though later I just have to look after it!

My point is that no matter what you buy there might be hidden flaws these may or may not be known to the seller, if you don't drop the oil on a car your about to buy and have it extensivly tested then all it comes down to is trust.

Now if you are going to slander someone with out all the information and facts then this "trust" is all but lost. and seeing as this person and yourself are both doing it publicly on a forum which is car model specific then that makes everyone look bad!

Not just you and Dujon!

I bought my MX-5 back in 98 or 99 (i cant remember) ask me haw many things have gone wrong with my car or how much I have replaced? its par for the course, If you are not prepared to take the good with the bad then you arn't really in the position to own a modified car as the good has to be taken with the bad!

I have read through all your posts on boost cruising, Adam has done some simple research to make a somewhat mockery out of you.

first you say you don't like drifting but in another post he has quoted you as scaring the sh*t out of mates!
what gives?

I used to love going out cruising on thursday nights and the car park on a saturday night down the coast but with all the crap on the TV about modified cars etc its just not worth it.

and to publicly post "doing hill runs and scaring your mates?"
you obviously havn't seen the threads with the subject of people getting caught because of their big mouth!

all this doesn't help your case!
The furthure you push this issue the furthure you push people that can help you away

if all this and you still cant make sense of the situation, i think you need to reacess what A. you want to get out of the car and B. how much time and dollars you want to put in.

Talk to duj and appoligise and he might be more than willing to help you out, but if you keep going down this path it will be you that is effected by it.

Regards,
Ryan.

Totally agree with Ryan.

Remember that Mike, all of us forum users have no emotional or financial interest in this issue, and it is you who is coming out looking a bit foolish for saying such things.

Hi to all the guys from Boost Cruising who may be reading this thread.

The abovementioned thread has been closed. Maybe Mike has come to his senses (or had them beaten into him).

LOL... i cant believe I completely missed this threads developments...
This has to be 'the' best read I've ever had... :D absolutely one hell of a read... especially if you read it from start to finish...

I'm not sure that car will be being sold to anyone again in a hurry, or to anyone that doesnt already know its 'complete' history..

This is a perfect eg of what not to do on a public forum...

 \"make mental note to self.. dont mess with my SA mx forum friends!!\"

oh and for the record... I too stand by Duj, he's a top bloke and very genuine guy.
