If you can do it all yourself and sorce parts cheap then your budget will do nicely:)
Mine ran just a bit over ( but I got my ECU dirt cheep)

All i can say is now I want more boost but the Engine is already on its way out.

There is a guy in Perth with a Greddy td04 kit with greddy front mount and pipes for $1500 and that leaves you some money for Engine management and injectors.pix is his username.
