Hey guys
My driver side door is drooping immensely, so much so that its hitting against the striker bolt in a nasty way. What's the easiest/most effective way to fix this?
Cheers for your feedback.

has the door sagged or the bolts that hold the windoe mech. in door come loose at the bottom underside of the door?
if the door has saged considereably you will need to shim the bottom hinge(the one on the door)
this is a major task as mx door are not the easiest to hang. you will need to pull the front fender panel off as well to gain full access to the hinge
then shim as required
how many k's has the car done?
shimming doors would only be done to really high mileage cars
would first look at wether the bolt to the hinge are done up tight
that the striker plate bolts are done up tight
and that it has not been removed and re fitted lower than its original position
other things that will help short term is the guide rubber can be lifted up a little.
I always lift my doors when I shut them my sills were repainted and the thought of the them getting scratched by a dropping door is always in the back of my mind.
let us know how you go if you get the front quater panel off(not hard to do but time consuming) you will have a much better idea of the task
