Which makes no difference since neither would hold up to being dríven like a cock. Which Duj's (your) car wasn't.
Dude, that one in the video is a completely different car, that was owned by Jay who now has that blue Cressida with the 2JZ thats been all over the net and has gone to a few interstate drag and burnout meets and gave my cousin's Hayabusa a good run on Anzac Highway. There are numerous stories going around about the 13B MX5 he had (ie WDM-354) Managed to blow a bloody starter motor at the Mount Lofty carpark one freeeeeeeezing night after arriving and trying to impress people with a massive burnout, then everyone left. Drove it down Jetty Road with no bonnet while on defect.
It was a very well known car, both to people around Adelaide and the 5-0. But it wasn't your car, and was dríven about a million times harder than Duj drove his (your) car. Also, the bloke Duj bought yours from is about a million years old and would have been lucky to get it on boost let alone go and rip hektik burnouts like it sounds like you tried to do when you smashed the diff so well that your mechanic was scared to pull it apart.
You've met Duj, and you know how small the cabin of a MX5 is, especially with a hardtop on. Do you REALLY think he'd fit and have his head as low as Jay's is on that video you put up of "Duj" driving "your" car. Tread loss between you seeing the car and getting it off the truck as evidenced by the video of "your" car doing a massive burnout? Man it must be as fully hektik as your old worlds fastest rocket powered GTiR that actually handled fully good to have killed the tread on the wheels that were ON THE FRONT, on a different car, a couple of years ago.
I've bought stuff from Dujon and he's been awesome to deal with. In fact, I don't know a single person apart from you who has a bad thing to say about him, and since you can't even tell the difference between a chrome 18 and what looks to be a 14 inch stockie painted black, I'm not going to count your opinion.
Like I said months ago, and like others have also said to you, you're not going to be able to run it in a decent class so stop going on about being a hektik circuit driver and rally driver. Get a 1.8 diff and stick it in yourself, don't run big boost, don't drive like a dick and just enjoy it on the road and maybe do some hillclimbs and sprints. It will be fast, make the right noises and impress all the kiddies at Maccas. If you want to have some fun on the track and really test your skills behind the wheel, take the two grand you'll save on not grafting a RX7 rear end into the car, put it together with another couple of grand you'll save by actually getting your hands dirty doing the relatively simple stuff that you've been shelling out to have done by guys that you end up slamming on the internet afterwards, and buy a kart.
All the "I'm gonna do this and this and this" stuff that you go on about for the MX5 is going to cost you an absolute fortune, make the car worse to drive, pretty much make it useless for the street and make it even harder to sell when you decide its crap and you want a new Barina instead because you're so sick of the constant problems with the MX5. Drop a few grand on a kart and all the associated bits for racing it, and just go and have some FUN, and keep the MX5 pretty much as is where its still fun to drive and own. It might not sound as impressive to tell your friends that you have a kart instead of a fully sik widebody rotary MX5 with a RX7 rear end and all that, but hey, you'll still have a nice 12AT MX5 and I'd hazard a guess that none of your friends do.
