Recommendations on a cheap painter for a track car.

Postby Snowie » Sat Jun 16, 2007 6:35 pm

Hi all,

I have a track car that looks, well let's just say rough, and I kinda think I should consider a new coat of paint. I don't have access to somewhere to do it myself (nor the skill) so I was hoping to find a spray painter that doesn't charge in kidneys or first born children for his/her work. Naturally I am happy that it won't be a concourse winning job, you get what you pay for after all.

Can anyone recommend one? Any experience with one and what $$$ to expect to pay.

Thanks heaps.

:)

You could diy for around $50 like I did.

I saw the $50 job, and it looked great. That would be a perfectly acceptable finish for the track car. But my town house isn't exactly suitable.

But I'm happy to pay you $50 and a case or beer...

And I am not surprised there have been a few of these threads lately as some earlier cars are getting quite long in the tooth and need a new paint job.

Cheers

Snowie.
