HEY GUYS!..
just thought i would show you my finished product
(APOLOGIES FOR POOR PHOTOS ITS FROM MY PHONE)
Heres the engine bay after i finished
here is a shot of the ORIGINAL and the POLISHED SIDE BY SIDE
I ended up using heat resistant Yellow paint as BEVAN stated (sprayed into lid and then painted on..
im so happy with the result and i have just purcahsed a inlet manifold and i plan on polishing this too..
it was alot of hard work.. i did the whole thing using a drill bit polishing kit (i dont have a bench grinder)..
i would just like to have a big shout out and thankyou to
OKIBI, UNCLE ARTHUR, BEVAN and everyone else who helped..
i never would have thought to do this myself but im glad i did
Kind Regards
Ajay

Tell you what. I have a dremel copy (cheap substitute), a really good German bench grinder with wire buff, and a power drill buffing attachment.
I can offer beer, wingzzzz in our new deep fryer, movies, dinner courtesy of mummy and a bed.
