Exactly!
I usually give it a few quick pulls of the lever to get it spraying all over the wondscreen and hardly get a drop inside the car if I'm moving or stationary.
A few short sprays work better than one big, long spray.
It uses a lot less water too.


I think maybe it's something to do with power output.

Owners of SPs and hot modified big cammed NAs are used to treating the accelerator pedal with respect. Owners of stock MX5s must obviously just stamp on the loud pedal and wait for the power to arrive, hence their heavy handed approach to the wiper wand :D :D
