LOL guys. Miss you lot!!!

I am looking at buying an NA again very soon.

I've done HEAPS of research, seems like a lot of NC owners worldwide are using the Mazdaspeed (Eibach) lowering springs. I'll look into those for Christinas car.

The AutoExe springs only lower the car 20mm, it's not enough really (hehe).

I'm putting together an AutoExe site at the moment, with pricing in Aussie dollars so bare with me. Will launch it very soon!

Justin,
Your research should have found that Eibach’s cost $570 for a 35mm drop and a 28% increase in spring rate.
You should also have found that local King’s cost $280 for an initial 35mm drop and a 30% increase in spring rate.
My best advice to you is DON’T go lower than this unless you want Mr Pod putting a defect notice on your girl friend’s windscreen.
Maths is pretty simple. To comply with State regulations you must have 100mm clearance under the car. The standard NC has 119mm and therefore a 35mm drop puts the NC at 84mm, well under the legal limit but you can probably get away with this because it’s a new car and for the next three years no one is really going to check it.
After the springs, to make the NC handle you really need sway bars. Eibach’s are $940 and fully adjustable local Whitelines $440.
Makes me wonder, why pay for the Eibach name when you can get a comparable local product with instant in-country service should something go wrong?
