NA front swaybar help

well ditching the swaybar as my left arm thing seems not right, the original bar sits about 2mms away while the passenger side has heaps of room

so its up for sale for the same price i got it for, if your in syd i can help u install it too

going a different route now, will just stiffen the car and lower it, should give some more handling improvement

Why not get a used A-arm from Mania and fix it properly? I dont think they are very expensive used and not that hard to replace.

It must be doing terrible things to your wheel alignment.

yeah thought about that, but i dont have a rear swaybar atm so its just going to put out my under/over steer ratio

rather get shocks first

I have an imported NA6 and the Whiteline 24mm adjustable front sway fits perfectly. It's even on the middle hole.

I agree with Garry, get the A-arms fixed asap. I'd hate to see a well handling car be compromised with damaged suspension parts.

Agree with what others have said.......fix the A Arm.....this is a fundamental problem you need to sort out before any mods.

Fix it when you replace your shocks. You have to pull half the suspension to bits to fit the shock anyway, you might as well do the little bit extra and replace the arm.

just saw adamjp's rb bar thread and noticed this pic



when i compared the whiteline swaybar to the OEM one the ends were longer... should they be identical just like the RB but thicker?

If you just use the middle hole the whiteline should line up perfectly with the std one, they do have one hole further away so you can soften it if you want, but you need some bal type links to use it properly.

As for the top arm, prob not a bad idea to get that sorted

thats the thing.. my one doesnt have 3 holes tho otherwise i would have most likely got it sorted.. dont have a rear bar anyways so not much of a good idea

and yes i will be having a look into the a arm

No no no............its a fixed front bar (ie. 1 hole each side) for NA6. His A Arm is buggered thats why it doesnt fit. Came straight off Mattys NA6 with no modification. Case closed
