Heya Fatty,

Estimated time of arrival back in Melb (as in Westgate freeway,South Melbourne) is 1:15pm for those who take off straight from last stop at Winchelsea.

Other than that you could go back up GOR or back way yourself from Apollo Bay (end point of first run) - we will arrive there at 9am, so you will be back in Melbourne at 12ish.

Our second run is basically taking us back up to the Hwy but using the fun roads, we are not going around in circles ( I personally don't like those ones!!!)

Hope to still see ya in the pitch black Sunday morning! :D

I cant seem to rope in a suitable co-pilot ... one who can drive a manual AND fits in my car. Its too far to drive the round trip alone.
What a shame too... I was looking foward to taking cherry on her first official outing.

I cant make it guys... a friend of the family passed away a few days ago, so i will be busy this sat and sunday..

I dont think my dodgy wheels/tyres on at the moment would handle it anyway.. haha

Hope you all enjoy yourselves... :D

Awesome day. Thanks very much for organising it. Can't believe so many cars turned up. Didn't know that the run involved a bit of drifting action though :D

The sacrifice of the sunday morn sleep in was definitely worth it. Big thanks to Joni and Chris for organizing - great to see so many mx's out there.

Cheers,
Shane

Wow... that much fun has got to be illegal ! It was a spectacular turn out, wonderful weather (albeit a little windswept) and a fantastic drive. Many thanks to Stu for being the co-pilot on Cherry's first outing.

Wahoo for sideways corners ! *goes to change underpants though*

I am so glad I was a part of such a great run. It reassured me in what it means to own an mx5. Thanks to everyone for being so friendly. Thanks Joni and Chris.

Great job Chris and Joni. I believe that this run has broken the previous record for number of MX-5s on a regular run. Great to see all of the grins as we took in the curves of the road and associated views.

Mio, sorry I didn't realise that was you. Would have spoken to you about the vary nose has I realised.

What a great day.
I had an absolute ball.
Thanks to the organisers, it was very well run.
I was in a group up the front and was very happy and comfortable with the pace. Must say my car is a little twitchy at the moment, time for an alignment and play with the settings on the Konis I think.
I had to leave early, realised what time it was when the Apollo bay drivers briefing started and had to go.
Thanks again to all involved.
