What side mirrors do people have or have seen?

Postby qik_260z » Wed May 23, 2007 10:48 am

Hey just snapped my passenger mirror off trying to adjust it and it looks like the drivers will go if i touch it aswell.

So im in the market for some aftermarket mirrors. Heard of people using yamaha bike mirros how does that go? Are they big enough?
Wouldnt mind some chrome bullet or carbon mirrors if they can be found for an ok price.
What are peeps thoughts and if anyone has some pics of what they have on their car that would be cool.

Cheers
Clint

Um...er...flesh coloured clothes? What do you take me for? Some sort of pervert who gets naked when he's playing with his car accessories?

The mirror is stainless, the base is chromed cast alloy. Brilliant quality, 4yrs later they still look as good as the day I bought them

those runabouts M2 ones are awesome but they are like 13000 yen each.

a pair is like AUD $260 + shipping. i'd imagine A$300 landed.

I bought mine over the counter in Japan....www.metromotorsports.com can get them but at somewhat of a markup.

IIRC they were Y19800 when I bought them or roughtly $250.

the price i quoted above is off current ads on Road & Ster magazine. not sure about the over counter price.

i guess the price increased is offset by strong Aussie dollars.

edit: just checked Corns is selling them for 24,000 yen

Personally, I would only have electric mirrors that can be adjusted from the inside of the car.
Having to adjust a manual passenger's mirror is a real pain IMHO.
Especially if more than one person drives the car.
