[Turbo Girl]

What a day, the track was very slippery and cold, my first run was like driving on ice, the car was fishtailing everywhere, but I managed to keep it on the track all day long.
What a great day for Matilda and the MX5 club 1.06.59 Class win 4D and 1st outright
I had a class win in 3D 1:11.55, my MX5 is up against Toyota Supra, Nissan Skyline, 2 Monaro and a Ford XY in my class.
Renny Rodan 1.12.58 1st in class 1600 turbo and Wakefield lap record for class SVC
Bradley Cecil 1:14.21 1st in class 2B in his Red MX5/Lancer (one day Bradley will see the light and buy a real car) Pipped mike on his last run before losing it big time
Mike Hicks 1.15.25 2nd in class 2B
Mattew Guyder 1:16.03 3rd in class 2B
Robert Guyder 1:17.15 6th in class 2B
Ian Vickers 1.16.05 2nd in class 1B
Kevin Addison 1:17.15 7th in class 3B
Peter Browning(fanta)1.16.60 3rd in class (running with the under 2000cc class), but new class lap record for Wakefield 4A under 1600 record

I'm going slower than 2 girls, Matilda ok, Turbo girl, we will see what happens at round 4.
I may have to find a front splitter, big rear wing, loose passenger seat, trailer, tow car, etc etc etc

well done matt. how the extinguisher go? no rattles?? have any probs with scrutinering?

Sailed through scrutineering, my dodgy secondary bonnet restraint was fine and the fire extinguisher mount was fantastic. It stayed clipped in the entire day, and didn't budge.

hah hah hah yeah I've seen the light.. but those baby lambo's aren't cheap
I must say staying on the track is a whole lot more fun then off it! It's certainly the first time I've managed to take a tyre off the rim, and my cars poor front spoiler... it has copped a hiding.
