By the look of the alternator windings, it might be worth pulling it apart and cleaning it prior to putting it back in the car - looks like there's a fair bit of metal polish residue in there which might affect its operation.... 8)

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

I had the same issues with getting the holes for the radiator fan to line up on the radiator. I ended up just not putting the screws back into those holes.

I think he was trying to point out that he had to trim back the fan mounting to allow access to the oil cooler pipe.

That rad is HAWT!!! was looking at them recently, only dreaming though...

Considering PWR have a good reputation the twincooler is a bit of a balls up.

NONE of the holes/brackets were really in the right location.

I don't mind doing some modification, but I can see how someone looking at a \"bolt in\" solution would get really pissed off.

No wonder people are always complaining that mechanics take longer than expected to install a part, there's always some sorta stuffing around to make things fit.

Even the bolts to mount the fans were too long to use.

I had to cut my fan mounts a bit because I have the front sway brace.

Yeah, to get around the bolt length issue, I had to also put a nut on the bolt so that they wouldn't go all of the way in. Shocking quality control.

Yeah, my PWR radiator fan mounts didn't line up either. One fan is held at three points because of it. Then there is the plastic drain plug that refuses to come out.

But the best was yet to come. In the month after the I received the radiator PWR sent a number of items that I had not ordered. It got to the point where I told Jennifer to refuse to accept delivery from the courier. It took at least three phone calls to sort it out.

WOW!! That is sweet Dave! Now all you need is some more decals for the windscreen - there's a few spots of clear glass left there :P
