:shock: Don't say I didn't warn you if you live in Victoria. All these new laws & rules along with speed and red light cameras what hope have we got. Talk about overtaxed. The only response as to why I couldn't have painted calipers was something to do with heat distribution ???? WHAT THA!!! even though I used the proper VHT paint. So why is it OK when you have factory fitted painted calipers? GO Figure

if you paint them back in black, would that be ok?

that's probably easier than removing the paint...

i guess it would be less noticeable...but paint is paint.

:( It would appear it has to be the original metal colour that the car came with. I had mine painted red/orange colour

I cant see how they can defect for painted calipers. It does nothing to stop the car being roadworthy. I can just picture someone with big dollar Brembo calipers getting told to remove the paint. Yeah right.

I can. "Big dollar Brembos" originally come factory painted....I think what robbo refers to is that the brakes must be left the original colour from the factory, so if your car comes with painted brakes (ie brembo's) then ur laughing
