The one i had was a two part design, had the 'brain' box and the controler. The brains had a built in map sensor so i hooked that up to a vacume. The i just fiddled with the gain and cut-in settings for the injectors.
I didnt use a rising rate fuel regulator your stock one is enough, and the stock pump is enough too. I just T-ed into the fuel feed line (not return) and the pressure will be controlled by the stocko regulator.
Not sure how the later ones worked but i'd say they all have the boost input line cause it wont activate without it.

You can run 6 psi without front mount, but you have to run so little timing advance that it isn't a very fun or drivable 6PSI (nothing off boost at all).
