Hello there. Just wondering if anyone has resprayed there MX5 before and how much it cost?
I'm looking at respraying mine in the original silverstone and was wondering the cost for a respray/ and or bare metal respray?

I was recently given a price for a same colour full respray of $2500.

all depends on haow far you want go. How much prep work you can do yourself.

back to bare metal.....all done by a workshop who take pride in thier work.

I go quoted around $4000 from a good resprayer who has a good reputation plus I have seen some of his resprays and that was fixing some small rust sections around the boot and a small dent in a fender.
This was for the same silverstone colour with no bare metal respray as he said it wounld't be needed looking at the condition of the car.
It just seemed a lot for a small car but maybe thats what you pay for a quality job??
