May Run with a Difference - Saturday Night at the Movies

When: Saturday 5th May at 5.15pm for a 5.30pm departure

Where: Meet at the BP service station at the Newcastle end of the freeway

Details: A night at the movies. Cost: $20 per car for one movie and $30 for two movies. There is a cafe and take away facilities available at the drive in too.

Should be a great night out - Not sure what is playing at the movies on Saturday night, will update and advise as soon as I know.

More importantly, it is the day after my 30th birthday, so you should all come along and celebrate / commiserate with me!

OK, I've heard from the Drive-In people. The movie programme for Saturday night is:

6.00pm MR BEAN'S HOLIDAY
7.45pm SPIDERMAN 3
10.20pm GHOST RIDER

It's the first time I have ever been to that drive-in. If I ever go again I will take a warmer jacket and not park behind a 4WD. It makes it hard to see the screen when you sit behind them in your Stuart Little car. :roll:

Again, good to meet you Steve, hope you turn up for the Coffee and Lies on Saturday, 26 May at Juicy Beans near the Civic Theatre.

A good night, got to have a good chat to Tom, Annette, and Sean and check out Tom and Annette's new mods.

Like Tom, I was parked in front of for Spidey 3. Doing the only logical thing in such moments, I put a blanket under my butt and sat on top of the rollbar. Like Tom again, next time I will take a warm jacket.
