I used this method in the Classic, Craig. No problem with the leather.
I took out about 20mm at the rear tapering to 10mm at the front. Made a huge difference.

Craig,
You don't really need the front to be as low, so it can sit high.
Matty did this in Nessy and it just locks you lower in the seat towards the back (Thanks Matty ), you will find the support for your legs better anyways (unless you are a front row forward with massive hams that is, which i think you'd be safe there )...
Come past Stefan's place on Saturday and have a go at my car if you like.
Cheers
Nuno

I've sat in Slammers car before and I kinda found it too much, mind you he might have removed more foam too.

well im done..
took out loads of the bottom and the back rest..
sitting HEAPS lower now and the comfort level hasnt seemded to change... yet to take it on a decnet drive but it dose feel like a proper sports seat now..
i just used a kitchen knife and sawed it off... found the best method to remove maximum material without cutting too deep was to take the foam out of the shovel turn the shovel upside down and press the foam back onto it so lumped up in the middle then you can kinda just cut off the lump.
either way its quiet easy... especially if your only taking out afew mil but im actually thinking the more the better as far as tall people go.
next club run feel free to have a sit anyone... only done the drives side so if you play musical chairs you can really feel the difference
