QR - Track Day in June

Postby neil d » Thu May 03, 2007 8:36 am

Hi all

The MX5 race guy's have organised a track day for their sponsors and are openly inviting other MX5's to come along and have a run.

Same rules as the normal days at QR re licence(AASA) and clothing etc.

You will have the added benefit of getting the chance to go for a ride in some of the race cars as well for a small fee.

Date: 21st June
Time: Morning session
Cost: $100/car (I think?)

To register please email Brian Ferrabie at

brian@racecarrentals.com.au

Should be a fund day with 80% of the race cars their and more.

I'm sure Andrew(Fish) will provide more details.

Bit hard for me as a contractor - $contract rates x 8 hrs = expensive.

You DO expect to be paid for your services in October don't you??? :D

I work - I get paid - I play - I don't. Simple.

I don't complain about it - I simply accept it is a fact of what I do and how I choose to do it.

So I'm REALLY sorry but I won't be coming to another working day track day.

No - I'm getting married this October and money for play doesn't equal money for reception, honeymoon, or other.....

I was lucky enough to get man (car) bling for my engagement - I've done pretty well thus far :D

Hmmmmm - now I think of it......that argument might work......

Honey - I'm skipping a day of work and lots of wages to go to a track day to play cars..... :D

No you're not - we have a wedding to pay for...

No Honey - it's all OK - Cal has said we only have to pay him no more than half because he thinks I'm soft for not coming.....

OK - If Cal says you have to be there then you can go play cars :D
