Longer wheel studs

Postby Adam_NAclubman » Sun Apr 01, 2007 6:44 pm

Has anyone fitted them to a MX5? Is it a simple job?

I'm looking at getting some new wheels but the hub face is very thick and only leaves 4 turns worth of thread protruding so I'll be wanting longer studs

ARP100-7719 For front all models and rear up to 95
ARP100-7720 for rears from 95
(if you have a 95 model car, I think you have to measure the factory ones to make sure)

The just press into the hubs to replace the original ones. I am just about to try and source some fronts - not sure where to find them yet.:)

I bought a HR kit with 15mm spacers - wheel studs are 15mm longer than original. 8)

You can order the longer wheel studs from http://www.niceproducts.com.au/ thats where I got mine from. They can be ordered from Repco and places like that.

I thik they cost about $5 each.

So it'd be a couple of sets of NS3430's from nice products?

Nice products are virtually next door to my work, and I know the guys there.
If any of you need stuff from them, let me know and I can grab them for you at trade prices.

They do a great trade in indicator stalks for Commodores!
