ah ok. good good .

so as long the belt tthat drives the alternator is on, everything is fine right?

i was a bit worried there for a minute, as i took my aircon belt off recently.

Keep polishing and you're going to need sunnies when that engine goes in. :)

That thermostat housing neck is held in by 2 bolts in the head. You'd have to remove a bunch of timing covers to get to it but when polished it'd fit in with the rest of it so nicely.

zoomzoom: if he gets the silver paint out, then I'll be worried. :)

No, they'll flow better once the rust holes enlarge.

that looks so good.. is it hard to polish the cover?.. ive looked into geting it done by mania.. but its too expensive..

If it's too expensive then its probably not worth your bother. The equipment to properly polish it (the same as Mania will get done) may cost even more.
