?
if you have fitted prog ECU
and have fitted the injectors yes they will work boosted or not
once you up the boost/duty cycle on the injectors the pump wont be able to supply the demand
the factory pump might beable to supply for 150kw but it would near the end of its usability and if something went wrong as its being maxed out it could be catistrophic
mines doing fine at 125 though
would be worth finding out if no one has its usability range.?

yeah thanks mate. this is what i thought as well - i would be right on the limit and it's probly not worth the risk of pushing the pump this far.
cheers for that.

I think this would be helpful if you run the stock pump.

I had a piston go in a bluebird due to lean out issues and that was with a VL pump in it!

It's cheap insurance given it takes half a day to do.
Huh?

hey guys quick update,

ive spoken to smb today & they do the top mount cast turbo manifold for the 1.8l, im sure lowmiata wont be too happy with the top mount :p but im sure i'll find a way to make it look all shiny & cool ;) oh & they will do it for 450 shipped :) so right on track

the guy also told me that they use sr20 s14/15 dump pipes for the gt28 so ebaying that brings a lot of cheap dump pipes like this

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/HKS-Style-Stainl ... dZViewItem

now for 100-150 im not sure it would be worth the stuff around of even trying to make one assuming they are good. what do you guys think of using the ebay dump pipes &/or has anyone used one as yet?

i know that i would have to change the front bit of my exhaust but would look at putting a 2.5\" system on it anyway :)

i can also get a hold of 550cc injectors off an fc rx7 will these be a little too big or will it still be tunable without rough idle & soforth with a large injector of its type?

oh & what do you guys normally runn for fuel pumps> internal or external? model numbers & prices would be great also ;)

wont bother me mate as long as your happy thats the main thing!
using an sr dump pipe would save you the dollars maybe look for a custom one that is one piece to before the cat as it will hav a good bend on the back

the one on ebay you posted might point the exhaust to far back towards the firewall ratherer than in the down direction you would need to aim for

a custom one you could cut up and get a few free bends out of!

I believe Cal put a Walbro 250lph internal fuel pump in his when he needed to upgrade. Said it wasn't too much drama to mount up.

Hang on a sec. The 200sx has a bottom mount manifold (so the turbo is mounted under the manifold). If you grab the same sort of turbo (T28) and top mount it, then use a 200sx dump pipe, it would be pointing straight into your bonnet! :?

Good size to allow for future power incresae, but you'll have trouble getting them to idle well no matter what ECU you use, many blame the size, but it's more to do with thier different spray pattern.
When results speak for themselves - don't interrupt.
