MANIA CAI and STRUT BAR?

hey guys..

really keen for a strut bar.. but just want to know if it will fit with my mania cold air intake?... has anyone done this?..

im actually just looking at one of those ebay ones..

Yes. I have the mania intake and the whiteline strut (chunky as)...you just bend the intake tube/air filter case upwards and fit it under the strutty bending upwards instead of a flush straight angled fit.

ebay strut bars wont fit with the mania cai

anyone want a ebay strut bar?

$50 in syd ??

any strut would fit i would have thought. bend the plastic air filter adapter and angle it upwards from the AFM. there should be just enough of the adapter to fit on without creating a gap on the bottomside. i havn't tried it with an ebay strut but i assume this would be the case with any strut??? Or you can simply modify the bracket your AFM is sitting on to lower and angle the AFM to fit the CAi with a strut easily.

i had one of those ebay strut bars and i reckon it would've fitted ok with my cai. as others have said, just fiddle with the angle on the cai and it should work. sold the strut bar tho so never got around to actually confirming that it would work.

mania took my strut off cos it wouldnt fit with the cai.

i have a cusco bar and my CAI fits underneath (just).

but we have to fit it at an angle pointing upwards to the hole.
