G'day Wayne, I have the tools for putting the seals back in if you need them. I assume you are talking about the crank seals?

Andrew. :)

(EDIT) And getting them out.

Hi there..

The seal I am talking about is the one at the BACK of the motor between it and the gear box (is that right ??) So I just need to order one from Mazdaland ??

Okies.. thanks guys... Will I need anything else ? Gaskets etc ??

Cheers

Beer - there must be beer - and none of that dodgy local stuff - for gearbox removal and replacement it must be good beer :)

Having fought with a gearbox and won, I know.

Did it ever!

Uncle Arthur's good at humping gearbox. He doesn't actually get them on too well, but he will hump, grab and shake em while swearing like a sailor

It was more like the swear keg - how else do you think I was able to afford the turbo conversion?

I changed one at the track on the weekend between races.

Took 2 hours to rip out the gearbox change the seal and put it all back together. Not fun with a hot car and limited time to compete the job.
