...Just a general question (...mainly for SP owners).
Does anyone have any stats on performance increases if the a/c system is removed from the SP? the only time I ever use it is when I have the hard-top on (...which seems to be rare these days) or when it's raining (it IS a good de-fogger). But truth is I tend to run only because I have to...i.e. once a week for about 10 mins just to lubricate it.
...is it worth the trouble of de-installing the entire kit?
...any thoughts?

Don't even think about it

Look Darbs, you've got too much time on your hands if you're thinking of stuff like this.

totally!
i reckon the benefit would be so negligible that you could get twice as much benefit for a fraction of the cost / hassle by focusing on other areas for improvements.
unless you are a running a 100% track car, leave that aircon in there!

beat an SP owner over the head with a 4x2 long enough & they eventually get the picture

Don't worry about what people think, they don't do it very often
