There seem to be a lag when accelarating. Not sure if it's because of the hot conditions we've had lately or there is really something there.

The symptom I'm feeling is of lag.... I accelarate, but it seems to bog down and slow to accelarate.

Am I just being paranoid, or do you think they've wound back the tuning of my car in order to lower it's power?

Also check they put the BOV back in the right way around, they sometimes put this around the other way to "cough" remedy "cough" the closed throttle kick, this is mainly fixed by the fact it will simply not rev out cleanly at all.
Went for a drive and there were slow cars everywhere, why are NC's so common . . . must be NC = Normally Cardiganed.

I was playing around with my MX5 on Saturday and found a small tear in the bov reference line. This turned out to be the leak I had been searching for since the idle went high a couple of weeks ago.
So I took it for a test drive and thought it definately feels quite a bit quicker. Had a look at the boost gauge and I was pulling 20psi with no audible detonation. The car was going really well and I took it for a really good run on 20psi before dropping it back to 15psi when I got home since I hadn't checked the mixtures.
I am getting a 2nd o2 sensor plug put in soon so I can hook up my wideband. Then if the mixtures are still good I will set it to 20psi permanently.
Jake
