17\" tyres,Best Traction for the Money

Postby Pumpn'Go » Fri Mar 16, 2007 2:51 am

I 'm looking to find the best tyre for traction ,Wet and dry, for light cars.Road leagal.?

I dont care how long they last.

I have 17-8 front 17-9 rear, Front tyre 205=225, Rear 235-265, in 40-45 profile.{ rough roads around here}

I like the look of the wider tyres ,but if you think thinner ones are better just say which ones and why.?

Do the slightly stretched tyres have better turn in on the front?
Thanks Col

This thread has some good info about different brands. It is all opinions though, but I suppose that's exactly what you're after.
