hi david,
boags has an safc as well, so he'll be able to use that in conjunction with the afm, like you did. but i agree, i think the rx7 afm is a waste of time. he already has it tho, so he might as well use it.

Time for a new sig line STM - 'Polarised Patchy'
I think you should try tuning the resonant frequency of the car next. Unwanted harmonics could cause the vehicle to be momentarily out of phase and could have the effect of cancelling the induction roar! I believe any competent feng shui practitioner should be able to make the necessary adjustments for you, but as per the earlier posts, a standard disclaimer applies

took Patchy for a spin this morning. So drove it around a little then stopped at the bottom of the long medium inclined hill. started going through the gears. i found defentely lacking a little power in the 3500-5000 rpm but then got a little hit from 5000 onwards.
so popped the lid on the AFM & found i had tightened the spring 5 clicks.
So loosened it off by 2 straight away. Found it ran smoother even with the idle(is that possible?). gave me a little less peaky power this time. power came on a little erlier & a little soother. did that a few times with various settings & found to be sweetest on 2 clicks tighter than Stock.
How is that for scientiffic research.
can't wait for the Suspension Bushes & rear sway to arrive now.
