Do you just slip totally over the original seat or is a bit of modification needed to the cover to make it stay in place?

it does look pretty schmick. would look great if the leather boots for the handbreak and gear-lever also had the black leather/red sticking combo.
(which i couldnt tell from the photos.)

However, they do look like they would be a nightmare to fit!

So this isn't reupholstering it or whatever? It's just sliding them over the current cloth ones?

What is your price for no \"MX5\" logo in the headrest and instead perforations in the headrest area instead. I have head rest speakers so would prefer the perforations. Plus the logo isn't my thing.

Keep us posted.

I need new covers for an NB8A, but probably something more subtle similar to the SE seat treatment.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

maxfromaus

I have seen photos of some leather seats in other MX5's that have had original head rest speakers in them and there were holes in the headrest material to let the sound come through without any sort of muffling which would happen if you put solid non-perforated (no holes) material over the front of any speaker. If you like I can send you a scanned photo so that you can see what I mean.

If the small holes can be done in the headrest area, then absolutely I am in for a group buy. I really like what you have shown in the photos.

PM replied :D

I am unsure if the NB seats are the same as SE/SP.

Perhaps someone can clear this up.

There are 2 different sizes of NB seats, the NB8B (6 speed box, VVT, bigger brakes, fog lamps etc) has higher backed seats.

I agree too, those with older seats will have a bigger need for covers.
