CAI question

Postby bruce » Mon Mar 05, 2007 11:04 am

Not that I own a 5, but I have always wondered...

Regards the CAI with the hole in the firewall - if you reverse the mod, does the washer bottle cover up and hide the hole perfectly?

It depends on the size of the hole that you cut. If you are putting in a loch Stewart CAI you use a 75mm hole. The washer water bottle doesn't quite cover that hole. If using one of the other CAIs that requires a smaller hole then the washer water bottle may cover it.
