New Seat Covers Installed
Hi all,
Would like to hear your opinion for the new seat covers I have done for my mx5.
I have been supplying these seat covers mostly for import cars over 3 years.
Recently, new member has added to my family and having 2 sports cars, one had to go. Our beloved mx5 was for sale after 7 years.
To be honest, I have straggled to sell the car over 5 months, although very reasonable price and great condition.
Finally, I decided to upgrade the seats and change the interior, as per above photos. It looked very impressive.
Last week, we sold the car to the first person seen the photos. Hope she will enjoy it as much as we did. The new seat covers certainly had major affect in the purchase decision.
I am not here to advertise at this stage. Just looking forward to your feedback.
Normally I advertise through ebay occasionally, or group buys, price being $330.

The seat covers are professionally made upholstery retrims, NOT slide ons, hence, they are very tide fit. It is the custom made retrims for MX5 only, but no other cars.
Old covers need to be taken off and new covers will go in instead. I supply the full Installation Guide with step by step instructions and over 150 photos as well. Very straight forward process that can be done in a day, which normally takes around 4 hours for me. No special skill or tool required. Original covers can be kept to resale later.

Dual colour format and logo is bonus of the seat covers purchase.
You dont get charge for them.
I can organise N/A logo, which is the same final price.
Not sure what you mean with perforations, however, I only supply one style of seat covers, which is the same as factory.
There should be any issues with the speakers. I use the same material over my tweeters in the other car. They still sound great.

I am the biggest NO NO person against Vinyl. One of the worst thing you can do to you interior
I have sold thousands sets of seat covers, and Leatherette is the winner. Leather is simply too expensive and less durable. Vinyl is too cheap, plastic like, not looking good.
On the other hand, leatherette looks and feels just like leather, very hard to identify to regular eye. Very high durability, which is more than leather, no cracking or fading, UV resistant, easy to clean and hassle free. I can't recommend enough, sure to be impressed. It is made for the remaining life cycle of the car. I use the best quality leatherette available in the market, which is Nylex, it comes from Germany.
The reason why the price is affordable is mainly due to the fact that I only run sales as group buys. Even though I advertise through ebay, there is a set date to start production. Its not per order basis. However, there is no number restrictions. Because I supply to fair few cars, its fairly easy to get a group of people of 50 every 2 weeks.
As I dont keep stock, and being a low cost operator, this reduces the price significantly.
I have access to Vinyl and genuine leather, however, refuse to supply them, due to Leatherette being a magnificant product. There is just no match, in terms of, price, quality and durability.
