I personally won't be there, the lure of the Wakefield Park Track Day altogether too strong.

I hope there is good turn out Sean and I look forward to hearing about it at the \"Coffee and Lies\" on the 24th!

You'll only get coffee and lies on the 24th  so I'll take my camera along and get some shots. It should be a great day!

TO TOM I was driving on the old Pacific Highway up to Wootton and saw a group of MX's go past and in the front was red hard top followed by gold and 2 silver. The last silver mx , the new model one really looked tops and the driver looked like he knew what he was doing. Loved the colour also and am now going to buy one.

Wiseman's Ferry Run Hunter Chapter

Postby cherub » Mon Mar 05, 2007 10:00 am

Well, what a great day with about 8 cars on the run. We met at the twin servo on the F3 and decided which was the best way to Wiseman's and true to nature, the best plans go astray. Heading down freeway to turn off at Peats Ridge and yes it happened, 2 cars went sailing past the turn and vanished into the distance. We did what anyone else would have down at that time, and that was to continue on and enjoy ourselves and hope that they would be seen again somewhere in the furture and then our thoughts turned to lunch. Arrived safe after a great drive down the twitchy roads and then on to ferry. At this point may I say that Howard had brought along a couple of CB radios to try out and after driving onto the ferry and being told to get back into our cars, just taking a few photos, I decided to see if the 2 missing members were anywhere to be found and to my shock horror we had reception on the CBs and after a short conversation we realised that they were in fact at the back of the ferry. Never thought we would see them again but there you go. Had lunch and then headed home. We picked one of the hottest days to do it, but worth every minute and the MXs are such a great car and the best fun. Anyway rambled on so ta ta for now and thanks to one and all who fronted as what a top drive, top day and best of all, top company.

We couldn't believe everyone wanted to take the quick route to Wiseman's Ferry via directly to Peats Ridge  so 2 of the red cars continued down the F3 to the Gosford exit to do the Old Pacific Hwy to Calga, then on to Peats Ridge. Two great pieces of road that were built for the MX-5!

But we still managed to catch the same ferry as you lot! That either proves that red actually does go faster, or your bloody silver slug needs a good tune (or a good driver). :P

Great day and great company. Can't wait for the next run!

Only took one photo. I was enjoying the driving too much!
