was looking in the Feb Autosalon mag (issue 52) and noticed they have a DIY writeup with pics for changing the bushings on a NA mx5 and it's not a small one either, 34 separate bushings in total

also see my post in the MX5 general chat area as well

Got an email from Simone on the weekend - says the bushes have been sent to me (Adelaide). :D

You guys got yours yet?

I haven't received mine yet. :frown:

I just called Andre,

He said mx5 mania arranged for their supplier of the bushes to deliver them straight from the factory to all of us who are part of the group buy. :?

Apparently the was some \"mix up\" with the orders

This has resulted in some not being delivered yet. He believes that their supplier should release them today. So I'm not going to get mine till next week.

I know that:
-these things happen
-we are making an $80 saving
but god damn it.

I just spoke to Simone. This was the hardest group buy they've done. There were so many parts in each order and several different models with minor differences. Quite a few people came in later to ask to join the buy, some as late as this week. They're not complaining, they're happy, it was just complex, that's all. And she said Mickfred did a good job with it.

They ended up packing and sending over 600 bushes. The last went out yesterday afternoon, so we should receive them before the weekend.

... and, as a consequence of this buy, Australia is now a bigger market for MX5 bushes than the USA.

Thanks Manga....

I got mine, but only because I was able to pick it up from the manufacturer, who was only 10 minutes from my house.

After being supplied the tracking number the courier advised I'll receive mine next week.

I've always had faith that they will be delivered.

Its simply that I'd rather be kept informed of any detours to plans or expectations rather than cancel bookings twice with the suspension shop and prompt mania for an explanation

Image.......forgive me father for I have sinned.

Enjoy guys, Mickfred, I'm still very appreciative of all that you've done.

best to wait til you have the items before booking a visit to the suspension shop i'd say.

anyway, i haven't got mine yet but mania were super helpful to me the other day, shipping me a battery a.s.a.p to get me out a tight spot. so sure, like any small business they are not perfect, but they're ok by me.

Our biggest problem is that we don't hold a lot of stock so we're relying on suppliers to get stuff to us before we can get it to you. (The other problem is couriers, but don't get me started on that) :P

Anyway ... those of you who haven't received your bushes should get them by the end of the week or early next week. This was definitely the biggest group buy I've seen (thanks to mickfred for organising) - who woulda thought bushes would be so popular? :) :P

Oh, and if it makes you feel better, I'm still waiting on my set too. :)
