A recent purchase of Rays 57F alloy wheels included a set of Gorilla wheel nuts, but I was keen to buy McGard wheel nuts. Got a set off eBay for $140 including airmail from the US. Sounds expensive, but the only local supplier quoted me $20 for each nut! With the fitting tool and postage, would've been $300ish
Anyway, the main principle is the 2 part construction - the 60 degree tapered section does not turn, it sits snug on your expensive alloy rim, while the threaded section turns independently. I luv 'em...
Can I show you one of my nuts?

what do you get for 20c????
even a set of 20 basic chrome nuts for alloy wheels (with 12mm allen key fitting) from Bob Jane cost $50, and that was less than recommended retail...
Mania sell Enkei wheel nuts for $10 each - that'd be $200 for a set of 20 for an NC.
Mind you, I do suffer from OCD, have been known to spend hours carefully filing off the galled alloy from my stock nuts, then polishing each one on the buffer wheel...
