Suspension Choices - What to Pick?
ok guys, need some help
as you all know, bought a new car, the 12AT mx-5.
i need new suspension though. had a look around and found a few. Mainly the TEIN Flex coilovers and the Bilsteins PSS9 coilovers. bout the same price. which should i choose? or if you can suggest something better. the car will be used for street and heavy track use, so comfort isnt too important.

i thought the Bilstein PSS9 only fit the NB.
there are heaps of people on here with Tein's fitted, should be able to get some good opinions.
i fitted Tein HA's to my car a couple of years ago.
the suspension is hard but i like it that way, i'm sure most people would say it's too hard for a daily driver.

I think it is 54sec around the Sprint, and 59 around the Clubman. Still F'ing quick though!
I'd go the teins over the Bilsteins. This car is going to be a monster.

king springs are useless unless i want to kill the handling. it already has koni's with eibach springs, but they arent up to the job. this is going to be built for race and street applications.

But you want to put a widebody kit on it with an extra 3 inches each side and presumably have wheels that are out at the edge of those guards?

not out the guards, i never said that. i want the wide body for the bigger wheelbase (and it looks hot). wider wheelsbase = better traction and less oversteer. so wouldn't that give it better handling?
i need high quality coilovers, suited for track and occassionally daily driving. king springs wont do it, they are far too soft. i'm thinking around the 8kg/mm springs.
